Matteo Desole
Born in Sassariin 1989, from 2013 he studies singing with Raina Kabaivanska in Modena.
He has sung the role of Tenore Solo in Alfred Schnittke’s Requiem in 2007 and in Franz Schubert’s Messa in sib in 2011. In the same year has sung Leopold in La parrucca di Mozart by Lorenzo Jovanotti and Bruno De Franceschi. He also works frequently with Cooperativa Teatro e/o Musica di Sassari in several dramas.
In 2011 he has sung in La notte di un nevrastenico and Il Signor Bruschino in Sassari. In July of 2012 he won a scholarship, among the winners of International Lyric Competition “G. Martinelli - A. Pertile”. He also often cooperates with Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti Foundation in Modena.
Since this he debuts Malcolm in Macbeth at Teatro Comunale Bologna conducted by Roberto Abbado, and staged by Bob Wilson, he rapidly makes his debuts in the main tenor roles: Duca in Rigoletto for As.Li.Co, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor in Savona, Alfredo in Traviata at the Rome Opera staged by Sofia Coppola as well as in Tiroler Festpiele in Erl, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte for Circuito Marchigiano.
Recent and future engagements include: La traviata and L’ elisir d’ amore at the State Opera in Prague and in Nancy, La bohème at Teatro Lirico in Cagliari and at Grand Théâtre Massenet in Saint-Etienne, Il Trovatore at Teatro del Giglio in Lucca and in Lubiana with Zubin Mehta, L’elisir d’amore in Nancy and at NNTT in Tokyo, La Favorita and Lucrezia Borgia in Cagliari, Traviata in London and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Nabucco in Modena and Reggio Emilia, Lucia di Lammermoor and Roberto Devereux in Bologna, the debut in Australia with Verdi Requiem, Rossini Stabat Mater and Mozart Requiem, Un ballo in Maschera at Holland Park, Macbeth in Liège and the World Première of Romanzo Criminale in Florence.
